My group of 7 ladies rented 4 rooms for 4 nights costing a total of $14K at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, but the staff is horrible, the restaurants are terrible (except for breakfast and Freddy’s Bar) and there were constant problems!!! Our bill had 18 mistakes: the price of each room had multiple mistakes creating an extra 5K added to the total bill; one of the restaurant bills was signed and paid for and then an additional €200 was added to the bill at checkout (without an explanation); each trip scheduled through the concierge was incorrectly charged - always to the benefit of the hotel; the list of incorrect charges goes on and on… We spent 4 hours working with 3 different managers; Roman, Patrick and another manager that’s name started with a “R” to try to fix the billing issues - all were condescending and rude. They agreed all of the bills were incorrect but repeatedly fought to change each charge to the correct amount. I felt like I was speaking to sketchy used car salesmen! The concierge claimed they ordered a private guide and a driver for a day, but the driver and guide never showed up. They found another driver that was waiting for a different hotel guest and had him take our group to our day trip - after we waited for over an hour. The driver was not a guide, didn’t know our arrangements, and was unable to give any information about the area - we were incredibly disappointed! In the end, we overpaid a bit, but we were so tired of being insulted and chose not to waste anymore vacation time. I strongly suggest you never stay at this hotel!

Probably in one of the best locations to get around the city. Amazing bellmen at the front door. And the front desk went beyond pleasant and made me feel a truly special guest. The entirely marble bathroom was a luxurious private space in a thoroughly luxurious hotel.

First rate boutique luxury hotel in the middle of Amsterdam.Loved the intimate nature of the Hotel.The rooms were well appointed and the bed was super comfortable.Small table allowed for business activities.The bathroom was very luxurious.The daily breakfast was not to be missed

Hotel is very nicely located in the centre of the historical canal ring area. I just stayed one night and did not have the opportunity to visit any of the restaurants. However, my major disappointment was in relation to the room service. After a long day I come to my room around midnight and decided to have quick dinner before going to sleep. I called the room service to order tomato soup (only choice) club sandwich with fries and a coke. After half an hour, I received a call saying that they ran out of soup. I asked why it took half an hour to figure out they had no soup, the gentleman on the phone was not apologetic. He said, I don’t know that is what they told me from the kitchen in a rude way. Then I waited another 25 minutes to receive my order. They forgot the french fries and brought a bottle of coke without opening the cap, no glass and ice. I called again they said they forgot the fries and the glass but they can bring it in a non apologetic way. In the mean time, I found a glass from the mini bar area which I usually hesitate to use since I am not sure how long they have been there. I also found a bottle opener for the coke. When I tasted my club sandwich, it was cold and the tasted bread was very hard to eat like a rubber. I seriously think this hotel has a problem with the room service which needs to be fixed starting from the chef to the person who has been answering the phone.

I just returned from a 2 night solo stay at this amazing hotel and just had to leave a comment. I chose this hotel primarily because of the old world glamour interiors which certainly did not disappoint!There were so many stunning areas of the hotel to relax in besides the room (which I would like to point out I had amazing nights sleep in). The food and drinks served at the restaurant and hotel bar were fantastic! The main highlight of this hotel is I have to say the exceptional service! I stay at many hotels and very rarely am I speechless with the service received. So many lovely people I dealt with but the main ones I would like to name are Rènè who always greeted me with a smile and gave good tips for where to go during the day. Saunder and Mattis at the concierge desk, again super friendly and genuinely helpful, always remembering my name. Gregg, Rose, RG and Wessel were an awesome team at Freddy’s Bar…I’ll be back for another great Manhattan! The whole team at Trattoria Graziella restaurant made my solo dining experience totally enjoyable! The team at breakfast were all amazing, but Nita totally stood out for her extra personal touch. Remembering exactly what I liked and just being a pleasure to see each morning. Lastly but by no means least Et and Eric ensured my first moments upon arrival were delightful. It is this great service I received which will make this the hotel of choice on my next visit to Amsterdam for sure. Thank you again!
